What’s Wrong with Virginia; starring Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris, is scheduled to start five weeks of shooting today in southwestern Michigan.

Starting on September 28th, Holland Michigan will be buzzing with Hollywood A-List star. Variety reports that Ed Harris, Emma Roberts and Amy Madigan have joined actress Jennifer Connelly in the upcoming indie drama What’s Wrong With Virginia. Directed and written by Dustin Lance Black; Oscar-winning screenwriter of Milk, the movie is about a local sheriff (Harris) whose state senate bid is in jeopardy when his daughter dates the son of a psychologically disturbed woman with whom the sheriff has engaged in a two-decade affair.
Ed Harris is playing the role originally attached to Liam Neeson, while director Milk Gus Van Sant is executive producing. This movie will be shot in Michigan and financed by Holland based TicTock Studios.
