USA Today has an eight photo spread for the upcoming directorial debut Drew Barrymore movie Whip It (which is set to hit theaters on October 9th.) The movie was shot all around Metro Detroit last summer with several cast member sightings (Ellen Page, Jimmy Fallon, Juliette Lewis, Eve, Zoe Bell, Marcia Gay Harden) partying it up at local Detroit music, shopping and entertainment venues during off production hours.

Last Saturday night at Jacoby’s in Detroit, Juliette Lewis, Zoe Bell and Eve; stars of Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut movie “Whip It” (which is currently shooting around metro Detroit), sang an impromptu cover of “I will Survive” with members of I, Crime backing them up. Barrymore, Ellen Page, musician Landon Pigg and comic Jimmy Fallon are reportable all in the crowd.
